Discussion includes: - Staying active; a look at adaptive exercises for strengthening, balance and fighting fatigue.
The impacts of incorporating physical fitness for those living with MS.
35 mins with Q&A

Followed by: “The Compass to Care”
Partnering with and Understanding your Healthcare Team

Each Presenter has (30) minutes to speak.
Then after the (3) talks, we will have a (45) minute Q&A panel

Mitzi Williams, MD – Neurology
To Discuss: What is a comprehensive healthcare team in relation to MS? Understanding how to extend your healthcare team to meet all MS Patient needs. A look at your core healthcare team plus your extended healthcare team.

Tracy Walker, FNP-C, WOCN, MSCN
To Discuss: Putting together the pieces of the puzzle- Discussing how patients can effectively manage the emotional, physical and relationship aspects of living with MS. Effective communication with your healthcare team; creating long-term trusting relationship. What are your priorities and goals; breaking down medical jargon and understanding your options to gain a better understanding of your MS.
